Main research directions and interests
Our group is mainly engaged in genetic and genomic research on marine molluscs. Our group particularly focuses on the development of cutting-edge technologies suitable for genomic research in non-model organisms, investigation the evolution of molluscan genomes and developmental mechanisms. Our goal is to understand the origin and evolution of molluscs based on systems biology approaches, with evolutionary implications for whole animal kingdom.
