Research Overview

Our group is particularly interested in molluscan genetics and genomics. Our research focuses on the development of cutting-edge technologies suitable for genomic research in non-model organisms, investigation the evolution of molluscan genomes and developmental mechanisms. The ultimate goal of our group is to utilize interdisciplinary techniques and methods to systematically elucidate the origin and evolution of molluscs, as well as the macroevolution mechanisms of animal genome and development.
