
The 2nd International Frontier Forum and Summer School
From August 4 to 11, the second International Frontier Forum and Summer School on Marine Evolution and Development was held in Fushan Campus of Ocean University of China. The event invited participants from the University of Bergen in Norway, Institute of Developmental Biology in Marseille in France, Rutgers University in the United States, RIKEN Institute in Japan, Okinawa University of Science and Technology in Japan, Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Singapore, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tongji University, Xiamen University, South China Normal University, Beijing Institute of Life Sciences, Liaoning Normal University, and Guangdong Provincial Medical Department More than 20 well-known academicians and outstanding scholars in the field of life sciences at home and abroad, such as the School of Disciplines, Guangzhou Laboratory, Ocean University of China, conducted frontier reports on the subject, conducted in-depth and extensive academic exchanges on the international frontier and hot issues in the field of evolution and development, and shared the trends, development trends, new technologies, and new methods of life sciences.
After comprehensive evaluation of academic background, research potential and knowledge reserve, A total of 60 students from James Cook University in Australia, the University of Wisconsin, Xiamen University, Sun Yat-sen University, Shandong University, China Agricultural University, Northwest A&F University, Northeast Forestry University, the First Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and other more than 20 well-known universities and research institutes at home and abroad were eligible to participate.
