LOGO interpretation: The main body of the laboratory logo is shell and sea wave. The design of the shell not only highlights the main research objects in our laboratory, but also implies the meaning of "development" and "macro-evolution". The shell consists three main animal evolutionary branches (Deuterostomia, Protostomia and Radiata) spreading from an embryo, and the middle is human beings, reflecting that our research can contribute to the benefit of mankind. Sea waves symbolize the ocean, and its internal DNA double helix embodies the implication of "genetics". The overall logo design covers the key elements of laboratory research characteristics (molluscs, genetics, development and macro-evolution).
